Subject: Giving Back to the Community and Having Fun Doing it

Hey Gang,

The Strongsville Rotary Club is a service organization whose sole purpose is to make a difference in our community, locally, nationally and even internationally.

As you may or may not know, I’m a proud member of the Rotary Club of Strongsville.

On Friday July 21, we’re having a special meeting where we’ll be giving away money we raised at our recent Kid’s Fest and Duck race to support some awesome charities.

I want to invite you to attend this exciting meeting where you can learn about the many ways the club impacts kids, seniors and people in all parts of the world.

We meet at 7:15 on Friday 7/21, a hot, full breakfast will be served, breakfast is on the club. We meet at the Strongsville Senior Center meeting room adjacent to the Strongsville Rec Center.

Please let me know if you can attend, I’ll hold a place at my table for you.

Regards,

Your name

P.S. This will be a fun and informative meeting, I hope you’ll join me!!

StrongFest Committee

The StrongFest Committee will be meeting after the meeting Friday at the Senior Center. At our July 21 meeting we’ll be presenting some of that money raised and sharing some of the other ways we’re able support causes the club supports.

Senior Picnic
The Senior Picnic will be July 28th.  Volunteers needed for setup, grilling and serving.  Signup online or at the meeting.

VFW Golf Outing

The VFW Golf Outing will be August 11th, that the club will be sponsoring.  Jim Karecki has forms if you want to golf.  Please let John know if you will be golfing on the 11th as it does conflict with our Friday meeting, so we can adjust the food appropriately.

End Polio Now Baseball Game

Districts 6630, 6650 and 6600 have organized a baseball game to benefit End Polio Now on August 17th against the Tigers.  There are a variety of ticket options available that you can order online.  Also talk to Bruce Kahn about tickets to win the chance to throw out the first pitch at a future game.
