New Member Inductions
We inducted our two newest members Friday, Howard Ross and Stacey Streeter.
New Member Bio
JoAnn Kenyon gave her new member bio. Her father was in the Air Force, and taught her about how to help and give to others. She grew up moving around every year and half, and during the Vietnam and Civil Rights era, and after college got involved in politics as a way to get involved and speak to the community. She worked with Mike DeWine, Bill Clinton, and Mike Turner.
Her original plan was to have four children, and ended up being blessed with one, who was very early, and with mild cerebral palsy. This prompted a shift from politics to advocating for parents of special needs children.
At seven years old at Fort Buchanan in Puerto Rico she did not get along with one of the other girls there, but being forbidden from getting in a fight, and the other girl was from Pittsburgh, so she made her own Browns shirts from white t-shirts and markers, and is when she started rooting for Cleveland.
Her husband was appointed as the new Center Director at NASA Glenn, and they moved "home" to Cleveland about a year ago.
