Rick Voigt's table won the The Queen of Hearts drawing and is responsible for putting up the banners and selling tickets this week. There are 37 cards left and the pot is currently $417.
Food Bank Friday
Friday is the first Friday of October - Food Bank Friday. The food bank has needs of: pasta, juice or milk (boxes/pouches) for kids, and pasta sauce.
Clam Bake Social
The club will have a clam bake social on October 23rd at Boys Hope Girls Hope. Full details can be found in the ClubRunner Event, which also lets you register. Payment can be made at a club meeting, or an online payment form will be available soon.
Volunteers Needed
Jeff Ellis is looking for volunteers to help deliver backpacks of food on Thursdays from the food bank to the schools. This is the program initiated by Cassie during her presidency to help feed kids over the weekend who rely on school meals. This program will start next week, Thursday September 30th with people collecting bags around 8:45am and delivering to the agreed upon school.
Halloween at Safety Town
The Halloween at Safety Town committee is meeting this Friday October 1st at 9am at Safety Town to review the site. Volunteers also needed the day of the event, October 9th from 4-6pm.
