At our Club virtual meetings I mentioned that we are a “people of action” and we should be coming together to help with our area’s needs due to COVID-19 pandemic. I have been getting many great ideas from our club members on virtual fundraising and areas where help is needed. I truly appreciate your comments and suggestions!! What we need to do is to review these ideas, research other ideas and define a COVID-19 Relief Project our members can come together and support.
 
So I want to create two committees. They are “Virtual Fundraiser Event Committee” and “Needs Analysis Committee”. I am asking for volunteers from our Club members fill these committees. These committees will go through their due diligence and decide on the project details. Then we reach out our members and other partnering organizations to help implement our project. This doesn’t have to a grand project in scale. This process will also teach us new techniques in funding that we can use for future projects.
 
Now is the time for us to figure out new ways in fund our projects and help people that are affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic. Let’s continue to do the great work Rotary Club of Strongsville members are known for doing.
