Speaker: Brent Painter, club member and Strongsville Director of Economic Development shared news about new businesses, restaurants, and developments in Strongsville.
A large number of global companies have added manufacturing capacity in Strongsville. This has helped make sure that the income tax base is well diversified, with the largest employer accounting for less than 3% of income tax revenues.
There are plans for a couple of the motels in Strongsville, with a proposal for Dunkin Donuts to replace the Village Inn, and a proposal for a Sheetz where the Super 8 is. At the mall The Hooley is in the former Bar Louie spot, and coming soon to the former Houlihan's spot is K-Pot, a Korean hot pot restaurant.
