Speaker
Last week we had our first Alumni meeting of the year.
Bill Schaffran, Amy Kocian came to share some memories, and Dave Kolick also attended to
Dan Cricks introduced Bill Schaffran, and shared how Bill use to run the reverse raffle, which was the clubs big fundraiser before the Chili Open. When Bill became president he asked Dan Cricks and Sam Lupica to take over the reverse raffle, and told them they had to wear a tux. He was only joking, but they showed up in tuxes, which was so popular they kept doing that every year after that. Bill also started the clothing drive and they used to sort at Camp Cheerful.
Many more stories were shared. Stay tuned for future alumni meetings, which are great fun, and the stories should be heard in person.
