Blue Badges
Blue Badges were awarded to Dave Shuey, Fred Morey, TJ Gigliotti, Dustin Passalacqua and Hunter James at the meeting.  Congratulations to all of them.  Becky Piper is helping keep track of progress towards the blue badge after achieving all the requirements in record time before heading to Florida for the winter.
Speaker
Our speaker last Friday was Joe Robb with Save A Warrior. Their mission is suicide prevention among veterans, as well as active Ohio first responders.

Their program runs in cohorts, a group of people who go through the process together.  The program is led and staffed by people who are graduates of the program.  The program consists of an initial 72-hour program, which is then followed up by a 500-day plan.  The program does take work from the participant, so one of the criteria is that the person has to be ready to change and put in the work.

They have about 2,400 alumni so far with a 99.5% success rate at suicide prevention.  The participants do not pay anything for the program, just travel to the facility which is about an hour east of Cincinnati.
