Students
We had some National Honor Society members visit us on Friday. The society focuses on leadership, character and service in addition to academics. They did volunteer to help with our events when needed, and their social media coordinator volunteered to assist with the upcoming Chili Open.

Speaker
Judy Carey and Alison Sauer from Solutions At Work (SAW) were our speakers. SAW provides vocational habilitation, which is a program that provides work and training opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Saw was spun out from the County Board due to federal guidelines around conflict of interest if the county were both mandating and providing services.
They specialize in piecework jobs that are hard to fill and keep workers because many workers find the jobs repetitious, tedious, and not challenging.
They provide services both at their own workshops and at company sites, and they also provide all the HR and supervisory roles to make it as easy as possible for the company.
They can provide both short term temporary help, or longer term engagements. If you are interested and have a need reach out to Alison Sauer - 216-861-0250
