Program

Ashley Gay presented the Harry Fuehrer Community Service Award to Tim Zvoncheck.  Tim served 15 years in the US Navy, achieving the senior leadership rank of US Navy Chief in less than half the time of the average sailor.  After serving his country Tim moved from suburban Chicago to Strongsville, and was responsible for relocating a $20 million corporation from Illinois to Ohio.  He has ran his own businesses and is widely respected and sought out for his knowledge and expertise in manufacturing and metal forming.

Tim is the longest consecutive serving Commander of Strongsville VFW Post 3345, and has contributed to many events and projects in Strongsville, including creating the Strongsville Veterans of Foreign Wars Annual Community Day and coordinating a large contribution towards the installation of a flagpole at Catan Stadium.  He continually assists local veterans securing employment and homes.

Mayor Perciak was also present, and presented a proclamation to that January 5th was a day of celebration of  Tim Zvoncheck.
