Speaker

Our speaker was Mayor Perciak, who presented his annual State of the City address.  The club presented a check to the mayor towards the Strongsville Town Center Enhancement and Walkability Initiative that was funded with proceeds from the StrongFest.  In addition the Mayor thanked Cuyahoga County Councilman Mike Gallagher for his assistance in securing county funds towards the initiative.

There was a pop-quiz, to see who knew where the city ranked in various metrics such as land-mass, population, value of property etc.  The mayor also discussed the mall and its importance to the city, as well as the rec center, and the planning for an interchange at I-71 and Boston Rd.
