Meeting Recap
The Foundation reported receiving donations directed towards the earthquake in Turkey and Syria, and purchased two ShelterBoxes which are used for humanitarian relief when natural disasters strike. The Foundation is also matching the donations received a couple of weeks ago when Cal Klinzing attended raising money for the Luekemia and Lymphoma Society, which the Ode Family Foundation will also match. If you want to read more or donate you can see a letter from him at

Speaker

Our speaker was Polly Mytinger of the Alzheimer's Association.
The Alzheimer's Association provides both funding for research into treatments for Alzheimer's, as well as support for people and families affected by it.
They organize a walk for their fundraiser, which is one of the top walks. It will be at the end of October at the zoo.
