Students
We had two groups visiting us on Friday.  First we had the president and vice president of student council come in to talk about what the student council does, which includes many of the major events including homecoming, Mr Mustang and Prom.  Mr Mustang is a fundraiser that raised $9,000 for the Ode Family Foundation.

The second group that came to visit was The Lantern, which is the high school newspaper.  The club donated $500 to the newspaper to get the final edition of the year printed and distributed.
New Member Bio
Stacey "Stacey Stacey" Streeter gave her new member bio.  She grew up in Olmsted Falls and went to Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio studying economics and French literature, and went on to work for Anderson Consulting.

In 2000 she married David Streeter, and then 20 years flew by, having four kids, home schooling, running various entrepreneurial businesses.  Her kids are now 13, 15, 21 and 22, with one at the Strongsville middle school, one at St Joseph Academy, one at Dayton, and one working in Medina.

She likes to crochet, read and garden, and they have a boat at Marblehead, golf, hike and ski as a family.  She volunteers with the Alzheimer Association, Cleveland Clinic as a baby cuddler, and now with the Rotary Club.

Her business is Oasis Senior Advisors, which helps people through the process of finding independent, assisted, memory care or home care.
Tour of Playhouse Square
George Tomko proposed a tour of Playhouse Square on May 11th late morning, followed by lunch at the HofbrÀuhaus.  We would like to have at least 30 people sign up to confirm the tour, so please sign up at https://portal.clubrunner.ca/4880/event/playhouse-square-tour if you'd like to go.
Foundation Elections
We held election for the Strongsville Rotary Foundation on Friday.  Kim Harris and Rick Weiser will be the new trustees on the board serving a two year term, joining Dave Reed who's two year term will end next year.  The officers were re-elected with Ashley Gay as President, Ken Dooner VP, Dan Sage Treasurer, Bryan Chaye Secretary.
