Membership Moment
Ashley led our "Name That Rotarian" game this week. Don't forget to reply to Ashley if she asks you for some personal information.
Flower Girls
Jennifer Milbrandt introduced the girls who help decorate the city with flowers and decorations, including the hanging flower baskets, flower beds etc around the city owned properties, including the Commons, cemetery and police station.
Speaker
Our speaker was District Governor Julie Brandle. She shared the Rotary International President's areas of focus, which are peace, mental health, and empowering women and girls. Julie is a life long girl scout, and the founder and president of Metis Construction Services, and often speaks to young girls in high schools and colleges about careers in construction.
In addition her own special area of interest is the environment. The rest of the meeting was spent sharing projects that we have done so she knows what's going on in the district. She also signed on as a sponsor of our StrongFest.
